TMNR Coaches

There were two types of coach - the Pullman and the toast rack 'open' coach.

The Pullman is fitted with two wooden slatted seats and can carry two adults in a  degree of comfort.

The toast-rack coach looks, at first glance, to be a Pullman with the seats fastened directly to the chassis but closer inspection shows this not to be the case. In fact, both the chassis and seats are subtly different to the Pullman although the bogies are interchangeable. As yet we don't own one of these rather rare toast-racks but hope to soon!

Construction was similar to the locos, being a steel frame mounted on two bogies which supported a two part plastic moulding for the body.
